At Wichita, we design and manufacture pneumatic and hydraulic clutches, brakes and ancillary equipment for a wide range of industrial, mining and marine applications. Whether it's an off-the-shelf product you need or a bespoke design, from mining to metal-forming we're proud to be acknowledged as the power transmission systems specialist by which all others are judged.

In addition to our UK factory, we manufacture in the USA at Wichita Falls, Texas. Further facilities are located in continental Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions, and all are supported by a world-wide sales and distribution network. Being part of Altra Industrial Motion’s Heavy Duty Clutch and Brake Group enables us to combine the resources of Wichita with those of AIM. This gives our customers unparalleled access to engineering and sales solutions - for instance, in addition to Wichita dry clutches and brakes, we can also provide Industrial Clutch Products, like the HC oil-immersed clutches and brakes.

We're now into our sixth decade of manufacturing in Bedford, England. Product innovation, continuous investment, consistent high quality and sound customer service have all been contributors to our growth and success during the last 50 years. But most of all, we owe it to the loyalty of our customers, many of whom have been placing their business with us since we assembled our first clutch here in 1961.
